JOB SUMMARY
The Sr. Technical Sourcing Manager is responsible and accountable for orchestrating the supplier selection process and part validation process for three major facets of Jabils needs: (1) Design (2) NPI (3) Risk/Cost Reduction. This position requires situational analysis to leverage Jabils Supply Chain and Sourcing organizations as well as Jabils tools templates and processes to ensure we are identifying validating and deploying components into Jabils supply base correctly. This role must shift and adapt quickly to changing project requirements and act with a sense of urgency. Support of multiple projects/customers and have direct reports is possible. This role will require direct customer and supplier interface as well as engagement with executive stakeholders.

Additional Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
A Bachelors degree (preferably in Engineering or Supply Chain) with 12 years or more of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Masters degree in Supply Chain Management is preferred.
Advanced PC skills with emphasis on Excel Word and Powerpoint. Ability to read analyze interpret and communicate regarding common scientific and/or technical journals. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers regulatory agencies or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to Senior Management and Customers; Ability to read and speak English. Ability to read and interpret 2D and 3D drawings and identify key information to manufacture a component such as following GD&T guidelines.
Strong problem solving analytic negotiation project management and people skills are a must. Ability to define problems collect data establish facts summarize information and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts interest commissions proportions percentages area circumference and volume. Ability to solve practical problems with limited information. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written oral diagram or schedule form.

Ability to work effectively under pressure with constantly changing priorities and deadlines. Individual may be required to sit stand walk regularly and occasionally lift up to 15 lbs. Be accessible to production floor and office staff and to use required office equipment. Specific vision requirements include reading of written documents and use of computer monitor screen frequently. This job may require up to 30% travel.
