Job Summary

Job Title: Pediatric Hospitalist - Locum Position in Tiffin OH

Job Responsibilities:

Provide 24-hour on-call pediatric care for newborns and pediatric patients.
Manage a patient caseload predominantly consisting of newborns (90%) with periodic pediatric and adolescent cases.
Supervise and educate medical students observing patient rounds.
Respond to emergencies within a 30-minute timeframe.
Participate in regular consultations and interdisciplinary team meetings.

Qualifications:

Board certified in Pediatrics preferred; board eligible candidates within five years of residency will be considered.
Active Ohio State License is required.
Current Ohio DEA certification is required.
BLS and NRP certifications are mandatory.
Experience with newborns is required.
Proficiency in X-ray interpretation and circumcision is obligatory.
UVC/UAC experience is highly preferred.
Availability for December coverage is essential.
