The Temporary Therapist is a Masters or Doctoral-level trained psychotherapist and is a member of the clinical team. The Counseling & Wellness Center is committed to upholding equity in mental health.
The Temporary Therapist provides culturally-informed therapy consultation supervision and outreach and works to promote well-being and health within the university.
- Masters or doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology clinical social work or related mental health field.
- Ability to provide brief and focused counseling.
- Demonstrated competency working with diverse populations.
- Experience providing risk assessment and crisis response.
- Experience working as a part of a collaborative team-based approach to clinical services in a fast- paced work setting.
- CACREP-accredited CSWE-accredited or APA-accredited graduate program (as applicable).
- Minimum of one-year experience working in a college or university counseling center (practicum/internship may be included).
- Fully licensed as a mental health counselor clinical social worker or marriage and family therapist in the State of Washington by start of position (please specify license type and number).
