Circle Rehabilitation is part of Circle Health Group Britains leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.
We have an opportunity for a Lead Clinical Psychologist to join their team of staff in the Psychology department.
This is a Part time role for 24 hours a week. The role holder will be required tocover a flexible shift pattern.
Duties of this role include:
- Provide strategic leadership for psychological services within the Rehabilitation Centre and across relevant pathways.
- Act as the senior clinical psychology lead ensuring safe evidence-based and patientcentred practice.
- Contribute to hospital and corporate service planning representing psychological services at senior management forums.
- Lead on outcome measurement performance indicators and service development initiatives for psychology.
- Deliver expert psychological assessment and intervention for patients with neurological psychological and physical health conditions.
- Use advanced knowledge of neuropsychological cognitive behavioural and systemic models to inform treatment.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (or equivalent) recognised by the HCPC.
- HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist (Clinical).
- Significant post-qualification experience in neuropsychology complex rehabilitation or physical health settings.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in managing psychology services or teams.
- Expertise in neuropsychological assessment cognitive rehabilitation and therapeutic approaches (e.g. CBT ACT systemic).
- Strong knowledge of the psychological impact of neurological conditions trauma and disability.
- Evidence of service development audit and research experience.
- Proven ability to influence at senior levels and work effectively within a complex MDT.
