Job Description: Surveyor Location: Margate Kent
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Surveyor to join our skilled team. You will play a key role in ensuring that all installations meet the highest standards by carrying out accurate site surveys providing technical expertise and supporting the smooth delivery of projects from design through to installation. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical knowledge of double glazing windows doors and conservatories and who takes pride in delivering precision and quality.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct site surveys for windows doors and conservatories. Take precise measurements and record all technical details required for manufacture and
installation. Identify and resolve potential technical issues before works commence. Provide clear accurate drawings and information to the design production and installation
teams. Liaise with customers in a professional and friendly manner ensuring they understand the
installation process. Ensure compliance with building regulations FENSA standards and company quality
requirements. Support the installation teams with technical queries. Maintain accurate records and submit survey reports in a timely manner.
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in surveying within the double glazing or construction industry is essential. Excellent technical knowledge of windows doors and conservatories. Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision. Good communication and customer service skills. Proficiency in using surveying tools and software. Knowledge of building regulations and health & safety requirements. Full UK driving licence.
