Your Role: Design Production Manager
As our Design Production Manager youll be the operational backbone of our creative outputleading the end-to-end production of print and design deliverables. Youll ensure every asset is delivered with precision speed and cost-efficiency while orchestrating seamless collaboration between our Creative Studio Project Managers and external suppliers.
Lead the end-to-end production of print and design deliverablesensuring quality speed and cost-efficiency across briefing planning supplier(s) coordination and final delivery. The Design Production Manager orchestrates workflows between Creative team designer Project Managers and external suppliers to deliver assets at scale.
Production planning & delivery
- Own the production plan for print/design projects from intake to delivery balancing scope timelines and budgets.
- Translate briefs into clear technical specs.
- Build and maintain schedules and capacity plans; proactively flag risks and mitigation options.
Studio workflow and quality check
- Oversee the workflow of design resources to ensure smooth allocation scheduling and delivery of production and adaptation tasks.
- Run quality checks against brand guidelines and technical specs; manage corrections and change control.
- Ensure linguistic versioning where required.
- Maintain an organised asset repository with versioning.
Supplier management
- Source brief and manage suppliers
- Negotiate and compare quotes
Internal and external stakeholder management
- Serve as day-to-day contact for internal teams and clients for production topics setting clear expectations and providing timely updates.
- Partner with Creative team and PMs to balance feasibility.
- Facilitate handovers between creative and studio ensuring all inputs are complete and accurate.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Graphic Design Production/Print Management Communications or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5 years of production management experience in an agency or in-house studio with significant print output.
- Proven track record delivering multi-format print campaigns (brochures reports OOH packaging).
- Experience sourcing and managing external suppliers
Skills & Competencies
- Planning multitasking and attention to detail; calm under pressure.
- Clear proactive communication; ability to translate technical detail for non-experts.
- Vendor negotiation and relationship management; solution-oriented mindset.
