Job Description
The Department of Pediatrics Division of Primary Care Pediatrics at UVA Health Childrens Hospital seeks candidates for a non-tenure eligible clinical faculty position at the Assistant Associate or Full Professor level to join their growing team at a new site named Riverside II (2335 Seminole Lane Charlottesville VA 22901) which will be opening by May 2026. This site will house a traditional office model with both preventative and acute care visits of established patients as well as availability for same day acute care visits for both UVA (from different sites) and non-UVA patients. The position is ideal for a highly motivated candidate with a strong interest in advancing their career through excellence in clinical practice teaching quality improvement and advocacy. Rank and compensation are dependent upon qualifications. The position requires excellent clinical and teaching skills and experience necessary to precept residents and medical students.
The Division of Primary Care Pediatrics is currently comprised of 24 full and part-time pediatricians. The Division has outstanding collaborative working relationships with other pediatric subspecialists our surgical colleagues and our colleagues in adult medicine.

The Medical Center is a 735-bed level 1 trauma center that serves as the primary specialty and sub-specialty hospital for central Virginia. Applicants must be board certified or board eligible in pediatrics and have an M.D. degree or equivalent.
