Job Description:

As an immigration attorney you will be responsible for managing a caseload of removal defense (EOIR) family-based and humanitarian immigration cases. You will represent clients in their immigration court cases and appeals.


The ideal candidate is an individual who has courtroom experience is vested in every case is eager to learn is creative and is self-motivated. The ideal candidate will also have strong written and oral advocacy effective caseload management and excitement to be a member of a team breaking barriers on what a modern firm can be and should be.

  • Represent clients in immigration matters including deportation defense asylum family-based immigration and employment-based immigration.
  • Conducting legal research to support cases drafting legal documents such as contracts pleadings and motions and providing written analyses of legal issues.
  • Prepare and file immigration petitions and applications.
  • Attend court hearings trials and other legal proceedings as necessary.
  • Provide clients with clear and honest legal advice and keep them informed about the progress of their cases.
  • Meet with prospective clients to provide initial advice and assess their legal needs.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys paralegals and support staff to ensure efficient case management and excellent client service.
  • Stay current on immigration laws regulations and policies.
  • Communicate with clients prospective clients government agents and government officials in a clear concise and effective manner (both verbally and in writing)
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Must hold a license to practice law granted by the highest court of any state.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in immigration law.
  • Strong research writing and analytical skills.
  • Excellent courtroom and advocacy skills.
  • Ability to handle a high volume of cases and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish).
  • Strong commitment to client service and upholding the firms core values.
