Job Description
This opportunity is a hybrid role at JumpCloud requiring that you are able to work both on site and remotely in the location specified in the Job Description.

JumpCloud is looking for a passionate and driven Entry-Level Software Engineer to join our team focusing on Software Management. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to launch their career and make a significant impact on a product used by millions of users worldwide.
As an Engineer at JumpCloud youll be at the heart of our mission to simplify IT and security for organizations everywhere. Youll work alongside a team of experienced engineers contributing to the development and enhancement of our Software Management features. This includes everything from developing new features that help administrators easily deploy and update software to ensuring the scalability and reliability of our services.
What youll be doing:
- Building user-friendly experiences: Youll contribute to the full software development lifecycle from designing and coding new features to ensuring they are easy for our customers to use.
- Collaborating with your team: Youll work closely with other engineers product managers and designers to bring new features to life. We believe in the power of collaboration and communication to build the best products.
- Solving complex problems: Youll tackle challenging technical problems related to software deployment package management and system performance. Youll be encouraged to think creatively and find innovative solutions.

What were looking for:
- A recent graduate with a Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field.
- Strong foundational knowledge of software development principles data structures and algorithms.
- Experience with at least one programming language such as Go C Rust Python Java or JavaScript.
- A passion for technology and a desire to learn new things. We value curiosity and a drive to solve problems.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act the approximate annual compensation range for this role depending on individual candidate level and experience is $85000 - $105000 including base salary and any related bonuses or commissions.

Where youll be working/Location:
This role is hybrid in United States of America. You must be located in and authorized to work in the United States of America to be considered for this role.
This hybrid role is based in theDenver / Boulder metro area. You will be required to work onsite in our Louisville Colorado office. You will be expected to be in office five (5) days a week during the first two weeks of onboarding possibly up to the first month. Once onboarding is completed you will be expected to work from the office periodically at least one day a month (subject to performance).
Language:
JumpCloud has teams in 15 countries around the world and conducts our internal business in English. The interview and any additional screening process will take place primarily in English.
