Job Summary
Community Resource Network of Floridais looking fora caregiverwho is fun compassionate dependable and is committed to helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) achieve their highest level of independence and live their bestlife.
This is an independent contract position and pays$15.25 per hour.
The individual is a young male inneed of a caregiver to support him with personal care and maintaining safety in the home.
10 hours per week flexible schedule.
You will be a good fitfor thisposition if you :
- Have a positiveoutlook and contagious energy
- Demonstrate patience and compassion
Responsibilities and Duties you can expect in the role:
- Encouraging and supporting the individualduring homeactivities
- Facilitate community involvement and socialization by accompanying individual to social events andcommunity outings
- Promote communication choiceindependence and socialization
- Complete daily progress notes
Qualifications and Skills
- Valid drivers license
- Must be able to pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening
- Provide proven 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training.
- Have a High School diploma or equivalent
- Are 18 years of age or older
- Spanish language required
