Job Summary
Position is expected to perform a variety of routine tasks to support our Facilities & Maintenance department. Position is responsible for supporting Facilities Manager with a variety of basic maintenance to support the refit of our laboratory at our Leatherhead site. Practical hands on experience is required but full training will be given. Responsible for understanding and adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
Job Duties
Essential Functions:
- Manual handling for example lifting and moving racking moving lab equipment (additional support will be provided when required)
- Putting furniture together
- Use of tools and basic DIY tasks
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Tidying/general maintenance tasks
Desirable but not essential:
- Hands on maintenance/DIY experience doesnt have to be within a working environment
Safety
- Must be able to wear relevant protective clothing i.e. gloves eye protection overalls hearing protection
- Must be able to understand and follow safety standards.
Suitable person must be available to start work immediately.
