About the Role
As a Senior Specialist you will lead and support strategic initiatives that ensure Regional Renal Programs have the infrastructure and services needed to deliver high-quality innovative and patient-centered dialysis careboth in-facility and at home. Youll collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop impactful products that support decision-making communication and change management.
Here is what you will be doing:
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement policies and strategies that promote quality value for money and innovation in kidney care infrastructure.
Planning & Collaboration: Manage the Ontario Renal Networks Infrastructure Planning Process in partnership with Ontario Health Regions the Ministry of Health Capital Branch and Regional Renal Programs.
Stakeholder Engagement: Lead engagement sessions and working groups build consensus and foster strong relationships with diverse stakeholders including clinicians administrators and patient advisors.
Project Execution: Translate operational requirements into actionable solutions monitor implementation and conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses to support program goals.
Communication & Reporting: Create high-quality materials such as briefing notes reports presentations and executive summaries to support strategic initiatives.
Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing: Mentor junior staff and facilitate knowledge exchange across teams to strengthen organizational capacity.

Qualifications
Education and Experience
Required: Undergraduate degree in an appropriate discipline (clinical epidemiology health sciences health services research health or business administration) or equivalent combination of education and experience. Masters degree is preferred.
Required: Minimum three to five years of related experience. Experience in a health care environment is preferred.
Proven track record leading/supporting large-scale projects preferably in a health care environment particularly health infrastructure projects.
Experience with project management related to quality improvement and evaluation including planning and implementation; PMP is an asset.
Expertise and experience in data analysis and forecasting and the ability to translate information into a convincing written argument or business case.
Experience working with clinical experts health care administrators and people with lived experience including ability to facilitate meetings with stakeholders and consensus building.
Knowledge and Skills
A strong understanding of the Ontario health care landscape particularly health infrastructure planning; understanding of kidney disease management in Ontario is an asset.
Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder relationship management skills with demonstrated experience engaging and building relationships and consensus amongst diverse stakeholders.
Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to clearly and concisely articulate key messages that resonate with different stakeholders and audiences effectively facilitate a group of stakeholders create and deliver effective presentations and prepare briefing notes and reports.
Ability to define problems find solutions and provide well-articulated recommendations to the Manager and other key decision makers.
Superior attention to detail organization and time management skills with ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
Strong critical and analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word PowerPoint Excel and Outlook; skilled in creating products (e.g. papers reports presentations diagrams) for multiple audiences.
Ability to ensure completed work outputs meet key program objectives and adhere to standards protocols and guidelines.
