Jefferson Healthcare in beautiful Port Townsend WA is looking to hire a Surgery Care Navigator/Coordinator for our Specialty clinics to serve as a key liaison between patients providers and the care team for all surgery patients requiring extra patient support; complicated clearances and nuanced scheduling such as total joint replacement surgeries breast and other cancer surgeries etc. This role ensures seamless and positive patient experience by guiding individuals through the surgical process-from initial consultation to pre-operative preparation surgery scheduling and post-operative follow-up.

What youll need:

Associates Degree and 2 years experience in a healthcare setting preferably in surgery scheduling or patient navigation.
Bachelors degree preferred
LICSW or CDPT credential preferred
BLS required
Strong knowledge of surgical scheduling processes insurance authorization and medical terminology.
MAs and LPNs are welcome to apply!

Schedule: 1.0 FTE; full-time day shift (Mon-Fri); occasional remote work possible
