Hours: 44 hours per week; Monday - Friday 9am - 6pm Saturday 9am - 5pm and Sunday 11am - 3pm(one day off midweek and Sundays on rota basis)

Salary: OTE up to 70000 with basic between 45000 to 50000 depending on experience


Are you looking for a career defining role and longing to be part of something exciting! Newcastle Nissan & Changan are looking for an ambitious and talented Sales Manager to join our successful team.
As a Sales Manager at Lookers you will act as a role model for customer service excellence for the team always leading by example. You will develop long-lasting meaningful relationships with our customers and coach and motivate the team to do so too. You will be reporting into the General Manager who is a friendly hands on leader who supports and motivates the team to enable them to perform to the best of their ability. This is an opportunity not to be missed!
You will oversee the day to day running of the showroom including vehicle valuations and sales supervising the vehicle journey from workshop prep right through to imaging and showroom presentation. You will work alongside the divisional buyer the dedicated Aftersales team detailers and photography team so that you can deliver marketing standards.

Responsibilities

  • Managing the full sales process from web inquiry to phone & showroom.
  • Managing staff performance from structured 121s to training & development.
  • Implementing department targets and brand KPIs.
  • Responsible for buying in vehicles. As well as up to date stock pricing.
  • Ensuring full FCA compliance within the Sales Department.
  • Manage and own our Customer Satisfaction.

You will have prior experience in a similar premium automotive environment with a proven track record in transactional sales and delivering exceptional customer service experiences. You will have experience in leading a highly motivated team and know how to get the best out of each team member.
Experience monitoring financial performance against budget and the ability to identify and address any shortfalls promptly is a must. You will need the ability to understand finance and insurance product regulations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and negotiate a sale. You must also have a full UK driving licence to be considered for this vacancy.
