Job Summary
Da/Pro Rubber is seeking an experienced Liquid Injection Molding (LIM) Operator to join our team at our Owasso OK facility. The LIM Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining press machines used to mold shape and form precision rubber components. This role follows detailed job travelers and documentation to ensure parts meet strict specifications and quality standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Operate heavy-duty Liquid Injection Rubber Presses ranging from 20-ton to 100-ton capacity to form products from liquid silicone rubber materials according to blueprints layouts and templates.
Follow the Method of Manufacturing (MOM) sequence applying knowledge of rubber properties and molding flow processes.
Monitor production processes identify abnormalities and notify the Shift Lead of any issues or deviations from standard procedures.
Record production data accurately and maintain required documentation.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or department lead.
Job Requirements
Ability to understand read and communicate instructions clearly and accurately in English.
Strong attention to detail and ability to perform basic math and counting tasks.
Proficiency in recording data and entering information accurately into a computer system.
Ability to use basic hand tools safely and effectively.
Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude toward teamwork and quality.
Physical Requirements
Occasionally: Reach above shoulders with both hands; lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
Frequently: Lift arms upward perform counting and calculations communicate details.
Constantly: Stand reach outward handle/touch materials flex wrists and elbows rotate arms.
Other: Near-point non-color vision tactile sensitivity and ability to tolerate variable temperatures in a non-climate-controlled environment.
