Nurse In Charge / 36 Hour Rotation / BWH Neuroscience/ICU

The Nurse In Charge will be responsible for:
- Partnering with Nursing leadership in planning and implementing patient care at the service/department level.
- Working collaboratively to provide excellent care to patients and families in the safest environment.
Qualifications
- Current Massachusetts license. Graduate of an approved School of Nursing.
- For external applicants:
Bachelors or Masters in Nursing required.
- For internal applicants:
- Bachelors or Masters in Nursing preferred. If not must be enrolled or enroll in a program leading to a Bachelors or Masters in Nursing within 1 year from being appointed to NIC position and must complete such program no later than 6 years after commencing employment as a NIC.
- 2 years current Neuroscience ICU Nurse in Charge Experience Required
- Membership in professional organizations is recommended and certification in specialty areas is encouraged.
