Are you a Registered Nurse with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care Mount Hospital is seeking experienced Registered Nurses with excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care to join our established nursing team.
Key functions include:
Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with patients families staff and VMOs from diverse backgrounds and cultures
Providing exceptional customer service and person-centred and evidence-based care
Providing supervision and preceptorship to Enrolled Nurses graduates AINs/PSAs and students
Working as a valued member of an interdisciplinary team managing own work time and personal well-being
Participating in quality improvement projects to support best practice outcomes
About You
You will be a experienced Registered Nurse who enjoys working in a supportive multidisciplinary environment across multiple specialities and have a understanding of patient care in a private hospital setting.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Current AHPRA registration (essential)
- At least 3 years experience working in an acute surgical/ medical environment or similar
- A willingness and availability to work across all shifts including day afternoon and night duty shifts
- A commitment to providing excellent patient-centred care
- An ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and model Healthscopes values
- Experience in intensive care cardiology and general surgery (desirable)
