Qualifications:
High School graduate or GED required; a degree in business administration or similar previous experience preferred

- Ability to work with all stakeholders to foster relationships with students families schools and community members;
- Experience handling or managing expenditure accounts is preferred;
- Obtain and maintain the commission of a notary public;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (specifically Word and Excel) Google (specifically Docs and Sheets);
- Ability to learn and maintain systems to include the student information system and any other system utilized to perform work;
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment;
- Self-motivated and works well individually and with others;
- Maintain confidentiality and safeguard information
Essential Duties:
This role is key to the offices efficient operation which focuses on developing and supporting school principals and other leaders. The primary duties include managing office communications scheduling and document preparation. The assistant also helps coordinate professional development events workshops and meetings for school leaders including managing logistics and materials. A portion of the job involves providing financial support including processing invoices and monitoring the office budget. The ideal candidate is highly organized possesses strong communication skills and is proficient in standard office software while handling confidential information with discretion. The administrative assistant effectively manages and triages incoming parent and community inquiries with professionalism escalating complex issues to leadership as needed. Specific duties and qualifications adjust based on the needs of the school division and the Office of School Leadership and Continuous Improvement.
Pay Rate:
Administrative Support Grade C5b Salary Scale(credit is based on years of full-time experience in a related position)
