We are seeking a Senior Project Accountant to support a major $120M project in Downer Cove. This is a direct-hire permanent role that will be fully dedicated to a single 30-month project and will be responsible for overseeing all accounting functions from start to finish. Following this project the accountant will transition to additional large-scale projects within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary project accountant for a $120M project.
- Manage all accounting functions related to the assigned project ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Oversee job costing cash flow projections and monthly billing.
- Prepare review and analyze WIP schedules change orders and billing documentation.
- Collaborate closely with project leadership and the central accounting team.
- Provide timely and accurate financial reporting to project stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with company policies procedures and GAAP standards.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 5 years of project accounting experience within the construction industry.
- Proven experience preparing and reviewing WIP schedules.
- Willingness and ability to work fully onsite at the job site.
- Prior experience as the sole accounting lead for a large-scale construction project.
- Strong analytical problem-solving and organizational skills.
