The Regional Vice President - Sales (West-Southwest Division) will oversee all aspects of regional sales operations shaping strategy driving growth and empowering teams to exceed ambitious goals. Leading a high performing sales organization the Regional Vice President of Sales (West-Southwest Division) will play a pivotal role in strengthening our market presence building collaborative cross-functional partnerships optimizing sales process and efficiency and ensuring alignment with organization goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Annual Sales Planning & Strategy: Partner with senior leadership to design and execute comprehensive sales and territory plans that align with company objectives harnessing market insights and data to fuel sustainable revenue growth.
  • Forecasting Reporting & Analytics: Lead the creation and refinement of accurate forecasts using advanced analytics. Deliver actionable insights to senior leadership while facilitating major sales forums including Sales Kickoffs QBRs Pipeline Reviews and customer events.
  • Performance Management & Coaching: Set clear KPIs mentor sales leaders and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement to drive consistent team success.
  • Commission Plan Management: Design and manage incentive structures that motivate and reward high performance while supporting organizational goals.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Marketing Finance and Field/Lab Operations to maximize revenue opportunities and deliver seamless customer experiences.
  • Leadership of Sales Forums: Provide strategic direction and execution for regional and national sales meetings ensuring alignment with business priorities.
  • Sales Technology Optimization: Champion the use of Salesforce CRM and other tools to enhance pipeline visibility track engagement and improve productivity.
  • Talent Development: Recruit train and inspire top-tier sales talent building a culture of collaboration accountability and professional growth.
  • Budget Oversight: Contribute to annual budget planning monitor financial performance and ensure resources are optimized to achieve revenue goals.
  • Sales Process Optimization: Continuously improve sales processes to align with best practices and elevate operational excellence.
  • Special Projects: Lead or support high-impact initiatives as directed by the Head of Sales and senior leadership.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Business Sales Marketing or related field required; MBA strongly preferred.
  • 8 years of progressive commercial leadership experience in healthcare biotech or a related industry.
  • Proven record of driving revenue growth building strong teams and delivering operational excellence.

Work Conditions

  • General office environment with frequent travel.
