THE ROLE
Our site in Danbury CT is seeking a/an Manufacturing Engineer Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2026 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration.
Were seeking a motivated co-op looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced collaborative and rewarding environment. As part of the Manufacturing Engineering team within the Dry Process Solutions unitsupporting Specialty Gas and Coatings processesyoull contribute to projects that drive process safety quality and operational excellence.
What Youll Do
Support process development initiatives aligned with key customer needs.
Assist in deploying a new manufacturing screening system including AI-based input/output development.
Improve operational efficiency through data automation reporting and integration of expanded operations data.
Support existing systems and processes for Specialty Gas Products including system enhancements and documentation updates.
Conduct statistical analysis to support quality improvements and process investigations.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to adapt to challenges and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Eagerness to contribute ideas and assist in solving technical problems.
Basic understanding of statistics programming or data systems is a plus.
Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year
Pursuing a bachelors degree in chemical engineering mechanical engineering or a related technical field.
Expected graduation year: 2026 or later (flexible based on program requirements).
Eligibility
Must be a currently enrolled student
Available to work 40 hours a week M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January through June.
Must be familiar with the universitys requirements to participate in a co-op program
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to lift 40 lbs is beneficial but not required

- Compensation: $20-$26 per hour with actual pay dependent on the candidates overall skills for the role
