Primary Responsibilities
- Build troubleshoot and repair cable assemblies.
- Working knowledge and use of tools used for cable manufacturing (strippers crimpers solder iron).
- Interpret engineer drawings electrical schematics and technical specifications.
- Candidates must have experience working with design engineers manufacturing engineers and other technicians to develop a strategy and identify any problems that could occur during assembly.
- Perform basic troubleshooting to find faults in signal and connectivity issues.
Basic Qualifications
- Candidates must possess a High School diploma/GED with 2-4 years cable building and/or electrical/mechanical assembly experience.
- Working knowledge of specialized tools and equipment used during cable assembly process.
- Must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) Final Secret Clearance OR meet the eligibility to obtain a Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Current or prior certification in IPC/WHMA-A-620 with Space addendum.
- Current or prior certification in J-STD-001.
- Ability to test cable assemblies for continuity isolation insulation resistance and insertion loss.

Pay Range $46800.00 - $84600.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
