About our client
Our client is a Croatian IT company with a global reach specializing in high-quality information systems design and management services as well as tech support for customers and enterprises. Theyre constantly improving advancing and adopting new trends new skills and new expertise.
As they continue to grow they are looking for an Accounting & Finance Manager with emphasis on accounting to oversee and support the accounting operations of their Ukrainian office in Kyiv (preferred location of work is Zagreb Croatia or at least part of the time).
With a team of around 40 professionals in Ukraine this role requires fluency in Ukrainian and English as well as expertise in Ukrainian accounting standards and tax regulations. Its a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on our financial operations while collaborating with both local and international teams.
What youll do:
Ensure compliance with Ukrainian accounting and tax regulations
Supervise external accounting and oversee daily accounting and finance activities for the Ukrainian office
Develop and implement systems for collecting analyzing verifying and reporting
Ensure completeness and accuracy of group reporting to the parent company
Monitor cash flow approve daily cash outflows and manage FX differences
Assist in annual audits
Maintain communication with Ukrainian banks and financial institutions
Collaborate with the Ukrainian and Croatian team to ensure efficient financial operations

What we expect:
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Economics or a closely related field
At least 5 years of experience in accounting
Strong understanding of Ukrainian accounting principles regulations and financial reporting
Proficient in Microsoft Office particularly Excel
Fluency in English and Ukrainian is a must
Skills that will bring you extra points:
A masters degree or professional certification (like CPA or ACCA etc.)
Experience working with small international teams or in the IT/tech industry
