Job Description
This position will be responsible for the proper material preparations for the production of the finished product while performing visual in-process inspection of output. Provide leadership to warehouse department staff through education and example of the following responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Must maintain 100% commitment to safety policies and procedures.
- Follow specified and trained work-order instructions
- Pulling of material items for pre-production processing
- Makes recommendations to management with respect to product and process improvements
- Assists with physical inventory
- Maintains the expected business level of quality control on all items produced
- Performs other related duties as required
- Coordinate warehouse staff work assignments
- Coordinating and reviewing warehouse staff training
- Monitor and report warehouse staff productivity
Skills and Abilities
- Attention to detail and ability to follow written and directed work instructions.
- Ability to coordinate and work with team members in a professional manner.
- Requires basic math skills including addition subtraction multiplication and division
- The ability to pull push grasp bend lift and carry up to 50lbs on a regular basis.
