Location: Atlanta GA 30329
Rate: $55 - $60/hour
Start Date: ASAP Only
Shift: 3x12-hour Day Shifts (07:00 19:30)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology team. This position involves working with pediatric patients undergoing treatment for hematologic and oncologic conditions in a high-acuity environment. The ideal candidate is a strong team player who thrives in a fast-paced emotionally challenging and rewarding clinical setting.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care to pediatric hematology/oncology patients.
Administer chemotherapy and other treatments according to established protocols.
Monitor patient condition and collaborate with the healthcare team to adjust care plans as needed.
Educate patients and families about treatment processes side effects and home care instructions.
Maintain timely and accurate documentation using the electronic medical record system.
Adhere to infection control procedures and safety standards.
Offer emotional support and guidance to patients and their families throughout treatment.

Minimum Requirements:

Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of pediatric hematology/oncology nursing experience Required
- Must have recent and relevant experience in a high-acuity pediatric oncology setting
Certifications (Required):
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- APHON Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider
Licensure:
- Active RN license in the state of Georgia
