Location: Ocala TX 34470
Shift: 10 hr Variable 07:00 AM - 05:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: (40 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our imaging team. The successful candidate will perform diagnostic CT procedures with a strong emphasis on patient care safety and image quality. This role supports both inpatient and outpatient services catering to a broad range of age groups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT imaging procedures as ordered by physicians ensuring optimal quality and efficiency.
- Adhere to established imaging protocols and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with department guidelines.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality diagnostic outcomes.
- Provide compassionate care to patients before during and after procedures.
- Ensure proper operation of CT equipment and promptly report any malfunctions.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the imaging area.
Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Certification/Licensure:
- Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist (Required)
- ARRT (R) certification required
- ARRT (CT) certification preferred
- Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of CT experience preferred
- Acute care experience is not required
- BLS Certification: Must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
