Job Summary:

Looking for a detail-oriented and technically proficient Security Remediation Technical Coordinator to lead and manage the remediation of security vulnerabilities across our enterprise systems. This role will serve as a bridge between security infrastructure and development teams to ensure timely and effective resolution of identified risks.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate the detection and remediation of hardcoded secrets across repositories and environments using tools like GitLeaks or similar.

Collaborate with engineering and DevOps teams to implement secure secrets management practices (e.g. vaulting rotation access control).

Track remediation progress and ensure timely resolution of identified exposures.

Develop and maintain documentation and playbooks for secrets remediation workflows.

Support automation of secrets scanning and integration into CI/CD pipelines.

Monitor and report on metrics related to secrets exposure and remediation efforts.

Stay current with best practices and emerging tools in secrets management and application security.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Cybersecurity or related field.

3 years of experience in application security vulnerability management or technical coordination.

Familiarity with secrets scanning tools and secure secrets management platforms (e.g. Akeyless HashiCorp Vault AWS Secrets Manager).

Excellent coordination communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with cloud-native environments (AWS Azure GCP).

Knowledge of secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC).

Ability to manage multiple remediation efforts across teams and projects.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
