Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced QA Test Lead to coordinate testing team on a high-profile project. The project is already underway with 1st deliverable scheduled for delivery on 11/17 (Project Scope has already been adjusted due to the aggressive timeframe).
The role of the QA Test Manager is to lead the testing team. Test Manager plays a central role in the Team. The Test Manager takes full responsibility for the projects success. The role involves quality & test advocacy resource planning & management and resolution of issues that impede the testing effort.
Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced Test Manager work.
- Perform highly advanced analysis and testing tasks related to software development.
- Responsible for activities during all phases of the system development life cycle including analyzing diagnosing and resolving reported software problems and troubleshooting system issues.
- Work with business users and SMEs to create and update test cases and execute testing.
- Act as the main point of contact between IT business users and the development team.
- Leading triages tracking prioritizing and managing defects.
- Create metrics to measure application quality and defect tracking.
- Providing and reviewing updates on UAT progress and results.
- Provide project status updates progress on defects and check progress on requirement traceability and coverage.
- Ensure exit criteria are met and obtaining final sign-off from the business.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills
- 8 years testing experience.
- Must have experience as a QA Lead managing test team and coordinating all testing and related activities.
- Must have experience with Salesforce and testing within Salesforce environment.
- Experience in writing and executing test cases as well as creating test plans.
- Experience in managing testing process with creation and execution of test plans test cases and test data for manual testing and automated scripts.
- Strong QA automation testing and scripting experience.
- Experience in generating manual and automated test scripts to support business requirements.
- Experience working on different types of testing : eg unit integration regression smoke user acceptance system stress and load/performance.
- Ability to work under pressure under tight time constraints.
- Ability to assist by responding to inquiries from others regarding errors problems or question about programs.
- Ability to effectively organize and present complex technical information both orally and in writing.
- Experience in overseeing the tracking or reporting of testing data and defect management.
- Experience in coordinating testing activities and data collection with internal and external customers.
- Experience in collaborating with stakeholders IT teams and project managers to understand requirements identify potential issues define testing score and ensure smooth implementation.
- Experience in mentoring and training QA team members on E HR testing methodologies best practices data migration testing and workflows.
- Excellent communication abilities to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams including clinicians IT staff and project managers.
- Experience in developing detailed test cases covering various scenarios user roles within the EHR system.
- Experience working in state agency preferred.
- Able to effectively report and communicate clearly to leadership team.
- PMP is not required but must have demonstrated experience in aspects of project management.
