We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

• Define decompose and allocate requirements from aircraft-level to system/item level.

• Develop and maintain system and airplane architectures.

• Support safety activities: FHA PSSA CMA SSA and FMEA/FMES.

• Ensure design traceability and compliance with higher-level requirements.

• Plan and execute V&V activities across the V-model (item system aircraft).

• Collaborate across hardware/software teams during design and testing.

• Provide documentation and certification support for FAA/EASA.

• Participate in design reviews audits and technical interchange meetings.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Systems Aerospace Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.

• 9 15 years of systems engineering experience in aerospace automotive or complex system domains.

• Hands-on experience with requirements design implementation V&V.

• Knowledge of safety assessments (FHA PSSA SSA CMA FMEA/FMES).

• Familiarity with certification standards (ARP4754A ARP4761 DO-178C DO-254).

• Strong analytical technical writing and teamwork skills.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with requirements tools (DOORS).

• System modeling (SysML/UML Cameo or equivalent).

• Test planning and execution across multiple levels.

• Aircraft design development and certification knowledge
