Job Summary:
- Perform in-process and final inspections of electro-mechanical assemblies (mechanical assemblies piping brackets wiring lighting boxes etc.).
- Conduct inspections in accordance with quality plans engineering specifications and procedures.
- Use and interpret tape measures accurately for inspections.
- Perform incoming in-process and final dimensional and visual inspections to ensure compliance.
- Electronically record inspection results for product acceptance or rejection.
- Handle nonconforming products per established work instructions and quality procedures.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and customer specifications.
- Inspect welds; AWS D1.1 weld inspection experience preferred.
- Possess working knowledge of nondestructive examinations and powder coating processes.
- Collaborate with manufacturing to ensure full compliance with engineering requirements.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance and work on-site with overtime as needed.
- Work cooperatively and professionally with colleagues customers vendors and management.
- Perform multiple tasks concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
- Mag Particle Inspection experience preferred.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience calibrating inspection and test equipment preferred.
- Experience in an ISO 9001 environment preferred.
- Non-Destructive Testing Certification preferred.
- Ultrasonic Testing Inspector Level II experience required; UT certification preferred.
