Caregiver

As a Caregiver you will play an essential role in providing person-centered care to our clients helping them maintain independence and dignity in their day-to-day lives. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for helping others to gain valuable experience in Irelands healthcare sector.

Responsibilities:

-Provide high-quality personal care and assistance to clients in their daily activities including bathing dressing feeding and mobility support.

-Administer medication and monitor client health ensuring any changes are promptly reported.

-Assist clients with household tasks including meal preparation laundry and light housekeeping.

-Provide companionship emotional support and encouragement to clients fostering a positive environment.

-Maintain accurate records of client care activities and any incidents.

-Communicate effectively with clients families and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.

Requirements:

-Prior experience in caregiving nursing or healthcare support is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.

-A genuine desire to help and improve the lives of others.

-Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

-Physical ability to handle various care tasks including lifting or supporting clients.

-Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed.

-A valid passport
