Job Summary

Maintenance Technician - Grade 8 Administrative salary scale / Non-Exempt

Salary Range $48375 ($23.26 ph) - $61740 ($29.68 ph) based on experience with the opportunity of annual increases to $82738. Benefits include Paid Time off accruing up to 480 hours Paid Holidays and Sick Leave Paid Medical Dental Vision Life and LTD. Responsible to the Maintenance Supervisor for the maintenance and repair of all physical structures properties and equipment and weekly on-call rotation for non-housing authority properties. One year experience in general building maintenance or building trades. Or three years experience as handyman. Knowledge and skills required and necessary to prepare rental apartments with repairs to include installing and repairing basic electrical fixtures basic plumbing repairs repairing/replacing flooring painting and cleaning. Performs general grounds and landscaping and snow removal of sidewalks and parking lots.
