Role description:

Arcadis is currently searching for a Civil Chemical Environmental Geological or Mechanical Engineer to join our team inMinneapolis MN. With the backing of one of the industrys leading technical and professional staffs you will assist with project design and delivery technical consulting and field implementation for multiple regional clients.

Arcadis provides multiple onboarding and development programs created for our young professionals that will expand professional growth and help drive creativeness innovation and greater integration within our local national and global teams.

Role accountabilities:

  • Field and office support which may include drilling oversight for soil sampling and/or groundwater well installation groundwater sampling excavation oversight conducting pilots and full-scale remedial efforts operation and maintenance of remediation systems and vapor intrusion/soil gas surveys.
  • Environmental remediation design tasks including soil and groundwater remedial system and remedial design and assessments.
  • Assist with design calculations for the selection of treatment technologies and process design drawings for groundwater industrial water and wastewater.
  • Complete Computer-Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) tasks for the preparation of detailed engineering design drawings.
  • Assist Project Managers (PMs) and Assistant PMs (APMs) with planning environmental investigation and remediation tasks including site characterization remedial design and feasibility studies.
  • Office work may include task coordination data compilation and interpretation cost estimates health & safety plan preparationdevelopment of technical reports presentations cost-estimates and proposals regulatory file review proposal writing project strategy development schedule and budget.

We are seeking a team player with a strong professional growth mindset strict adherence to health and safety procedures and a demonstrated work ethic with keen attention to detail. The ideal candidate is self-motivated possesses independent thinking skills and is flexible to travel up to 25% as required by project needs.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Geological Engineering Civil Engineering Environmental Engineering Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional license (EIT and/or GIT)
  • OSHA HAZWOPER 40 hr / 8 hr refresher training
  • Experience with AutoCAD and/or other CADD software
  • Strong experience working with MS Office Software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with collecting environmental media samples (e.g. groundwater soil wastewater etc.)

Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors such as experience education budget internal equity project and location.
