Job Summary
The Department of Political Science at DePaul University invites applications for a full-time tenure track position at the assistant professor level in American Politics (with an emphasis on state and local politics). The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in American Politics Political Geography and Public Policy. We will give priority to a person whose research would enable them to develop courses with a Chicago focus and address public policy issues such as gun violence poverty sustainability or economic development. An ability to teach social science statistics and/or courses in Geographic Information Systems will also be viewed favorably.
