Job Summary

Position Summary...

The Vice President Labor Relations for is responsible for shaping and executing a multi-year labor relations strategy that aligns with Walmarts broader business and people objectives. This leader will guide labor relations strategy for international markets including collective bargaining schemes where addition this role leads the development and implementation of labor relations programs policies and practices that support associate engagement legal compliance and organizational effectiveness. The VP serves as a strategic advisor and subject matter expert on labor relations labor history and employment practices ensuring that Walmart maintains a proactive and consistent approach to labor relations across its U.S. and International operations. Leads and guides labor relations strategy for international markets including collective bargaining schemes where applicable

What youll do...

Key Priorities:

Strategic Leadership and Program Development: Develops and drives long-term and short-term labor relations strategies that support associates and business goals globally. Oversees the design development and execution of labor relations programs and initiatives. Leads transformational change and best practices within the labor relations domain.
Stakeholder Collaboration and Influence: Partners with senior executives and cross-functional teams to align labor relations activities with company objectives. Advises leadership on labor-related risks opportunities and strategic direction. Cultivates relationships with external vendors and stakeholders to support labor relations initiatives.
Brand Representation and External Engagement: Represents Walmart in local state and national forums to promote the companys labor relations philosophy and practices. Ensures Walmarts brand and reputation are positively reflected in external labor relations engagements.
Compliance and Risk Management: Ensures labor relations practices comply with applicable laws and regulations. Monitors labor trends and legal developments to proactively address potential risks and opportunities.
Talent Development and Organizational Alignment: Aligns labor relations strategies with global talent management initiatives to support associate growth and development. Builds and leads a high-performing labor relations team fostering a culture of coaching feedback and continuous improvement.

The annual salary range for this position is $350000.00-$550000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:

Minimum Qualifications...
