Bookings Administrator/Receptionist

Location: Springfield Hospital Chelmsford

Hours: 30 per week

Salary: Depending on experience Benefits

Where youll be based:

Springfield hospital is conveniently located on the outskirts of Chelmsford with plenty of free parking onsite. The hospital has an excellent reputation for delivering high quality healthcare for patients who are self-funding treatment patients with health insurance or NHS patients exercising choice through the e-referral system.

The role:

We are looking for an experienced Bookings Administrator/Receptionist to join the team at Springfield Hospital in this role you will be an integral part of a team who are committed to delivering the highest quality clinical outcomes in a supported environment where you will be valued for your skills and expertise. You will be expected to deliver a first-class service to patients consultants and colleagues.

We need an individual with a professional approach excellent verbal communication skills initiative and the ability to work within a must be computer literate experience with Word and Outlook being use of an Electronic Patient Record system would be an advantage.

Hours:

09:00-17:00 in Bookings any days between Monday Friday (7.5-hour shifts)

06:30-20:00 on Reception Monday Saturday (6-hour shifts)

What you will bring with you:

  • Excellent organisational skills

  • Proven experience in administration and customer service

  • An excellent standard of computer literacy to include experience in Outlook

  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Excellent communication skills written and oral

  • Ability to work under pressure with set deadlines to process booking appointments

  • The ability to work within a team

  • The ability to time-manage

  • Experience using a Patient Administration System (PAS) would be an advantage
