Job Title: Travel Inpatient Pharmacist Hospital Setting
Location: Hyannis MA
Department: Pharmacy
Schedule: Rotating day evening and night shifts primarily 3:00pm11:00pm and 9:00am5:00pm with occasional 4:00pm12:00am or 8:00am4:00pm
Rotation: Includes weekends and holidays
Assignment Type: Travel/Contract
Call/Float: May support alternate entities as needed; 48-hour guarantee available on select contracts
Travel Rate: $3248.50/Week

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Travel Inpatient Pharmacistfor an exciting job in Hyannis MA.

Responsibilities

Prepare dispense and manage medications in compliance with hospital state and federal regulations.
Accurately verify high volumes of medication orders per shift ensuring safety completeness and appropriateness.
Compound IV admixtures TPN and other specialized pharmaceuticals following best practices.
Maintain accurate labeling storage and record-keeping of medications and supplies.
Serve as a trusted drug information resource for healthcare providers and patients.
Supervise and support certified pharmacy technicians.
Provide medication order entry and clinical support to affiliated facilities when required.
Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and contribute to a culture of clinical excellence and patient safety.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited pharmacy program.
Active Massachusetts Pharmacist license (must be obtained prior to start).
Minimum of 1 year of inpatient/clinical pharmacy experience.
Strong preference for candidates with Epic Willow and BD/Pyxis experience.
Proficiency in required computer systems dispensing platforms and compounding equipment.
