Job Summary

DIRECT HIRE: A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Instrument Tech to join to a dynamic team for all types of land surveying work on projects throughout the greater upstate of South Carolina. The successful candidate must be a responsible motivated detail-oriented individual with strong leadership skills and work ethic.

Salary Range: $25hr - $30hr OT
Base hours/schedule: 7am - 4pm some weekends

Qualifications:

Operates and maintains surveying instruments and equipment including total stations GPS units and data collectors
Assists survey crews with measuring distances angles and elevations to support boundary construction and topographic surveys
Sets up calibrates and verifies accuracy of instruments before and during use
Records field data and ensures accuracy and completeness for project documentation
Interprets survey plans and provides support in layout and staking for construction projects
Follows safety procedures and maintains equipment in proper working condition
Collaborates with surveyors engineers and field staff to complete projects efficiently
