Kitchen Coordinator and Classroom Floater

Pay rate is $18.00 per hour

Full-time position working 37.5 hours per week

Work hours will be scheduled between 7:00 am to 5:30 pm

We are seeking a dependable caring and organized Kitchen Coordinator & Classroom Floater r to prepare portion and deliver daily meals and snacks to the classrooms in our School For Limitless Learning in Valrico. This position also supports classrooms throughout the center as a Floater assisting with daily routines classroom coverage and fostering a safe engaging environment for children. This dual-role position is ideal for someone who is a dynamic multi-talented team player with a heart for children and attention to detail.

A snapshot of what youll be doing:

• Receive food vendor order prepare and serve daily meals and snacks
• Modify meals for special dietary needs
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and food service areas
• Track daily meal counts maintain inventory place food orders and manage supplies
• Keep accurate records for food service compliance and participate in audits
• Assist teachers with daily routines activities and classroom supervision
• Provide breaks and ratio coverage as needed across age groups
• Help with transitions meals and basic caregiving tasks
• Foster a warm safe and engaging environment for children

What we value:

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED and one to three months experience and/or training
• Food Handlers Certification or ability to obtain one upon hire
• Ability to work flexible hours based on the needs of the program
• Successful completion of the Florida Department of Children & Families 45 hour Child Care Training
