Job Summary
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Pension Fund Accountant to join the team within the Outsourcing global line of this role you will provide pension fund accountancy services to a diverse portfolio of clients.

The Role
- Prepare Scheme annual statutory accounts and any other reporting requirements and ensure they are completed to professional standards and agreed timescales for a portfolio of clients
- Ensure that taxation returns are completed to professional standards and agreed timescales
- Liaise effectively with the treasury administration investment and actuarial teams within WTW
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as within a team environment
- Liaise effectively with external auditors investment managers and Government departments
- To develop good working relationships with all external agencies and ensure that courteous prompt and professional advice on all matters is provided
- To provide financial information advice and reports as required
Qualifications
The Requirement
- Qualified Accountant with ACA ACCA or equivalent relevant qualification or part qualified accountant with suitable experience to perform the role effectively
- Experience within an accounting function in the pension fund industry is essential
- Knowledge of SORP Financial Reports of Pension Schemes
- Computer literate in particular Excel and Word
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- An enthusiastic team player who is equally comfortable working with a team or alone
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Flexible attitude to work with the ability to prioritise and multi-task
