Job Summary

The role involves the preparation and administration of radiopharmaceuticals also known as radioactive drugs to patients for diagnostic imaging or therapeutic purposes.

Responsibilities encompassed within this position include elucidating procedures to patients ensuring radiation safety for both patients and oneself maintaining equipment functionality and documenting all relevant processes. Furthermore this individual collaborates with physicians to facilitate accurate diagnoses and to provide essential data for patient care and research endeavors typically within hospital clinic or laboratory environments.

**Qualifications**-

A minimum of two years of experience in Nuclear Medicine Technology (NMT) is required.

- Cardiac experience is mandated.- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred.

**Certification Requirements**-

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).

- Certification from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) is required.
