BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking a Part-Time Certified Nursing Assistant in the N. Philadelphia area. BAYADAs special needs caregivers - Certified Nursing assistant CNA - work one-on-one in home and community settings as a companion and mentor for individuals with intellectual or developmental disability (Autism Down syndrome Cerebral Palsy and other diagnoses) to help them reach their full potential. As a member of our team you will be valued respected and heard. We are committed to investing in people and nurturing their desire to grow.
We currently have part-time/per-diem shifts available in the following zip codes:
- 19111 T-Thur 9am-1pm
- 19124 W 6:30p-7a Sat 8p-8a Sun 8p-7a overnight
- Will be working along side with a special education teacher
A Certified Nurse Aide must:
- Have at least one year of work experience
- Active CNA Cert and Must be listed on the PA Aide Registry active and in good standing.
- Demonstrate an ability to read write and effectively communicate in English
- Pass the BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination

Job Responsibilities for CNA - Certified Nurse Aide :
- Activities of daily living
- Light housekeeping
- Bathing
- Grooming
- Toileting
- Range of motion / exercises
- Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
- Oral feeding
- Vital sign checks: temperature pulse respiration
- Home Management Tasks: laundry meal preparation bed making etc.
- Assisting with ambulation
