Physics Teacher (TLR) Barking & Dagenham January Start
We are looking for a talented and dedicated Physics Teacher (TLR) to join an Ofsted Outstanding all-through school in Barking & Dagenham this January. As a Physics Teacher (TLR) you can expect:
Permanent contract with MPS/UPS plus TLR allowance
Free onsite parking and excellent CPD opportunities
Supportive SLT and collaborative science department
Leadership responsibility as the Lead Teacher of Physics (TLR available)
A chance to progress into middle leadership while still teaching your subject
Your role as a Physics Teacher (TLR) will include:
Teaching primarily KS5 Physics with some KS4 classes
Creating engaging resources and leading the Physics curriculum
Supporting and guiding fellow science teachers in the department
Delivering high-quality lessons and targeted interventions
Driving strong outcomes in Physics particularly at A-Level
Essential requirements for the Physics Teacher (TLR) role:
1:1 or 2:1 Physics Degree from a top 20 UK university
QTS and PGCE in Secondary Science (Physics specialism)
Proven experience teaching A-Level Physics to a high standard
Strong communicator proactive and able to work collaboratively in a team
Familiarity with AQA A-Level Physics desirable
This role is not suitable for ECTs
