The Opportunity:
Visy began manufacturing corrugated cardboard boxes in Melbourne Australia in 1948 and has grown to become one of the worlds leading privately owned packaging paper and recycling companies. We offer unique fully integrated forward thinking closed loop packaging solutions that align with customer and industry needs. Having maintained a huge market share we are certainly leading the way.
We are on the hunt for a highly motivated New Work Clerk to come on board and support us on a Permanent role based at our Smithfield site. The position will require managing sales & supplier relationships while fully complying with the Visy values.
TheRole:
Reporting to the State Services Manager - Visy Board NSW you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth processing of our products provide administrative support and assisting with the day-to-day activities of our Services and Sales teams.
Working closely with the local team and wider sales & services team you will be relentless in pursuit of the best outcome. You will thrive under pressure never shy away from a challenge be entrepreneurial in identifying opportunities and delivering solutions whilst never compromising safety quality and customer service.
Your key areas you will be responsible for will be but not limited to:
- Daily coordination with Sales Art Houses and Production teams to organise tooling for new jobs and existing product alterations
- Facilitate product changes initiated by the production and design teams
- Facilitate tooling transfers within sites together with the tooling department
- Provide daily updates to the Sales & Production team on progress of tooling
- Establish meaningful relationships with internal and external departments and possess exceptional communication skills
- Maintain a high level of accuracy in all activities and a strong team attitude
- Assist in timely updates of Visy Internal systems
What you need to succeed:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent Customer-Service and Stakeholder Management skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Prior experience in a sales environment is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite CRM systems and SAP (advantageous although not required)
