Department Overview

The Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Services department has locations on the Minneapolis and St. Paul campuses. They provide comprehensive evaluation and rehabilitation management services relating to congenital or acquired conditions that may lead to physical cognitive impairment. Patients receive help to achieve or regain functional potential in areas such as mobility communication and self-care. All care is coordinated with the patients primary care provider.


Position Summary

Responsible for the evaluation and provision of speech therapy services to children; the accompanying written documentation and verbal communication needed to administer care including provider orders; provides patient/family/caregivers staff and student training; provides a safe clean environment; provides proper care for departmental equipment; manages time effectively and promotes patient/family provider and intradepartmental satisfaction. All of the positions duties are performed within Childrens MN Standards of Behavior.
