*Required: Sign-On Bonus for external candidates with minimum of 1-year current RN L&D experience. Internal candidates who transfer to bonus eligible positions do not qualify. Bonus paid over a three year period of continuous full time employment.
Hours : 36 hours
Work Shift: 6:45am - 7:15pm every other weekend on call rotation

Job Summary:
Provides direct patient care in the Labor and Delivery setting. Provides assessment and planning for individualized patient care. Communicates with physicians about changes in patients clinical condition including: fetal monitoring and results of diagnostic studies. Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Performs general nursing duties in all Maternal Child Health departments with adequate supervision. Participates in performance improvement activities.
Requirements:
CTRegistered Nurse Licensure.
One year of L&D experience (preferred) or at least one year of Nursing experience.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Neonatal Resuscitation certification (NRP)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within six months of hire
Successful completion of STABLE Neonatal Program within six months of hire
Fetal Monitoring Certification (C-EFM) preferred
CTRegistered Nurse Licensure.
