Provide a brief summary of The SHUCAN Lab at Seton Hall University is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented undergraduate research assistant to join our team for the academic year.
Organizing and managing participant recruitment (posting flyers responding to emails making calls scheduling appointments)
Assisting in data collection (running participants through research protocols)
Training research assistants
Entering updating and coding paper-based and electronic data
Maintaining lab organization including consent forms and data tracking systems
Ensuring data integrity and care of research equipment
Supporting general lab tasks as needed
NO -- Federal Work Study eligibility not required
Strong sense of responsibility organization and follow-through
Reliability and attention to detail are essential
Ability to handle sensitive participant data with professionalism and confidentiality
Comfort with communicating by email and phone
Prior research experience is not required but a plus
