Role Summary

Were looking for a motivated tech-savvy IT Intern to join our Infrastructure & Operations team with a focus on driving automation initiatives. This internship offers hands-on experience in an enterprise IT environment where youll collaborate with experienced professionals to streamline operations improve system reliability and reduce manual processes through innovative automation solutions.

This program is for currently enrolled undergraduate rising seniors who will graduate in December 2026 - Spring 2027. The deadline to apply is November 1 2025.

• Location: this onsite position will be based out of our Kansas City MO office.

• Program dates: June 1st August 7th (10 weeks).

• Work schedule: 40 hours/week - Monday Friday (8 am 5 pm).

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

How You Will Make an Impact

• Assist in the design development and deployment of automation scripts and tools to support infrastructure operations.

• Collaborate with team members to identify repetitive tasks and propose automation solutions.

• Support monitoring and alerting systems to improve visibility into infrastructure health.

• Participate in infrastructure projects involving cloud services virtualization networking and server management.

• Document processes automation workflows and technical configurations.

• Learn and apply best practices in IT operations security and change management.

What You Bring to the Team (Required)

• You are an incoming senior enrolled in an undergraduate program in Computer Science Information Technology Management Information Systems or a related field.

• Basic understanding of infrastructure components (servers networks virtualization cloud platforms).

• Familiarity with software development lifecycle and APIs.

• Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Additional Assets (Preferred)

• Exposure to automation and scripting tools (e.g. Ansible Terraform PowerShell Python or Bash) is a plus.
