Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tableau Administrator to join our dynamic team; you will play a crucial role in maintaining the stability and performance of our Tableau environments. This position will be full-time and remote.
Job Description
What Youll Do
- Manage monitor and optimize Tableau Server/Cloud environments to ensure high performance and stability.
- Lead initiatives in cluster stabilization load balancing and capacity planning to support business needs.
- Implement and oversee Tableau platform upgrades patches and disaster recovery setups.
- Work closely with infrastructure and security teams to ensure adherence to enterprise standards and compliance.
- Diagnose and resolve platform-related issues including performance bottlenecks authentication problems and dashboard rendering delays.
- Develop scalable and reusable frameworks for platform governance user provisioning and content management.
- Provide comprehensive technical solutions to meet TEs analytics and modern BI requirements.
- Contribute to the formulation of BI standards policies and operating procedures.
- Facilitate data sharing through modern data warehousing tools and practices.
- Coordinate with Business and Technical teams across all phases of the software development life cycle.
- Participate in major technical and architectural decision-making processes.
- Engage in hands-on prototyping or POC/V of modern technology solutions.
- Project Management:Work closely with the Project Manager to develop and update task plans for BI work and manage critical task issues and dependencies.
What Youll Need
Required:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in administering Tableau environments.
- Proven track record in managing and optimizing Tableau Server/Cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of cluster stabilization load balancing and capacity planning.
- Experience with implementing platform upgrades patches and disaster recovery setups.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Familiarity with enterprise standards and collaboration with infrastructure and security teams.
- Proficiency in designing scalable frameworks for governance and content management.
- Solid understanding of modern BI practices and data warehousing tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Physical Demands
- This role involves mostly sedentary work with occasional movement around the office to attend meetings etc.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks on a computer using a mouse keyboard and monitor.
