Job Summary
Early Morning Breakfast Server 5:00am -11:00am
Summary of Position:Service of food and/or beverage delivery of any food and/or beverage item. This task is to be handled in a friendly courteous helpful timely and professional manner - resulting in a very high level of guest satisfaction.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Check breakfast buffet and dining space before during and after shift for proper set up and cleanliness.
- Take guests orders
- Set up and tear down the food service buffet
- Welcome and greet guests. Make all our guests feel comfortable and let them know youre there to personally take care of them.
- Replenish food on the buffet counter and beverages as necessary and check with guests for overall satisfaction.
- Maintain the cleanliness and order of the executive lounge
- Clear and reset the tables after each use.
- Perform any general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products as assign by supervisor to adhere to health standards.
- Perform other duties as requested.
- Maintain clean service areas.
Qualifications:
- Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of our guests.
- Must have a basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation
- Knowledge of appropriate table settings and silverware.
- Ability to transport large trays weighing up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to operate beverage and toast equipment
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours).
In accordance with New York States Pay Transparency Law (New York State Labor Law Section 194-b) which requires private employers with four (4) or more employees to include a range of pay for all advertised jobs promotion or transfer opportunities. This position pays $10.50 tips an hour.
